*Soak off required every other appointment! This is because the Gel X tip is made from soft gel. This is less harsh on the nail than acrylic, but sadly breaks down quicker, hence why it needs to be replaced every other appointment.

-When soaked off, MMA is very gummy and hard to remove, requiring a lot of time & care to ensure the natural nail is not damaged in the process.

-Since MMA holds onto the nail plate so intensely, it's recommended that you never try to pry, peel or rip off your acrylics, as it can cause severe and permanent damage.

*MMA is a type of monomer (the purple liquid we use when applying acrylic nails) that is used at many salons despite it being banned by the FDA in the 70's due to its harmful effects. So make sure your nail tech is using EMA monomer when you book with them!
